MAN v FAT are delighted to confirm that they will be continuing to build on their partnership with Budy in 2026.
Budy is an exciting collaborative health platform and the team there have partnered with MAN v FAT to help their members stay on track with their weight loss and wellbeing. The team at Budy will again be a part of this year’s MAN v FAT Awards and National Tournament events and this year, they will be sponsoring the Best New Club award for the event at Villa Park.

Leonhard Apel, Founder and CEO at Budy said of this year’s sponsorship: “Budy is proud to sponsor the Best New Club award at the MAN v FAT Awards.
“We continue to support MAN v FAT because it understands a fundamental truth: Long-term change is built on accountability and community. It creates environments where men show up for each other week after week, and that consistency changes outcomes. The Best New Club award represents the courage to start and the leadership to build that culture from day one
“Budy exists for the moments between those weigh-ins.
“What challenges progress are the difficult days; stress, setbacks, celebrations, and the spiral that can follow one lapse. We are building a peer-support platform designed to help people stabilise the next decision, reset quickly, and protect their progress before one off-track moment becomes an off-track week.
“MAN v FAT builds powerful weekly accountability. Budy strengthens the daily layer in between.”

MAN v FAT’s community have provided helpful feedback on the Budy platform as it has evolved in recent years and men across the UK and US will continue to be a useful support to the team at Budy as their support offer develops.
Director of MAN v FAT Richard Crick said: “It has been a pleasure to work with the team at Budy in recent years and so much of what they do aligns with our values and the ways in which we try to support our members across MAN v FAT.
“We know from speaking to our guys that weight loss and wellbeing progress are not linear and that support is needed on those harder days. What Budy is building gives genuine assistance when it is needed and we’re sure our community will continue to benefit from the platform.”
