We’ve got a great competition this month to win Grenade Carb Killa goodies to help you refocus on your weight loss goals after the indulgence of the long Easter weekend. We can’t be the only ones who emerged on Tuesday more Dairy Milk than man, right?

One lucky winner will win a whole load of Grenade goodies worth £100, including bars, shakes and spreads. If you’ve never heard of Grenade before, they’re a sports nutrition company with products sold in Holland and Barrett, Tesco and bizarrely, those tiny little WH Smith shops inside train stations.

We’re not huge lovers of protein bars here at MAN v FAT, finding that they tend to taste cloyingly artificial with a lingering aftertaste. Our general feeling is that there are much better ways of upping your protein intake, but if you’re a fan of protein bars and you need a quick way of getting your protein in after a workout, Grenade’s Carb Killa bars are a solid choice.

They pack in over 20g of protein per bar while also being low in carbs and sugar. They’re around the 200 calorie mark depending on the flavour and are delicious when warmed slightly in the microwave (trust us).

The range of flavours is really what draws us to the Carb Killa range – cookies and cream! Peanut nutter! White chocolate cookie! Caramel CHAOS! And now, as they put it, they’ve ‘put the bar in the jar’ and their most popular flavours also now come in spread form. Amazing. You can find out more about their products by clicking here.
