MAN v FAT is thrilled to announce a new partnership with GambleAware, the independent charity that works to reduce gambling harm.
MAN v FAT will be working with GambleAware as part of their Bet Regret Safer Gambling campaign, which launches this month in time for the start of the football season. We’ll be featuring specific TALKS on gambling and GambleAware’s work and we’ll be working closely with them to help promote and educate around gambling safety.
Richard Crick, Head of Football at MAN v FAT, said:
“MAN v FAT Football is delighted to be working with GambleAware to bring greater insights to our players on the public health impacts of gambling.
“With football being the most prominent sport to gamble on in the UK, we felt that forging a partnership would be another avenue which will support members to be as healthy in body and mind as possible.”
GambleAware operates a national gambling helpline on 0808 8020 133 for anyone looking for help, advice or support in relation to gambling, as well as a national network of providers who can assist with counselling and psychiatrist-led care.
