MAN v FAT is set to take its support into a new sport in 2024, with the launch of MAN v FAT Rugby.

Having supported tens of thousands of men to lose nearly 700,000lbs of weight since they got started in 2014, MAN v FAT is now picking up the oval ball to further spread the word on male wellbeing.

MAN v FAT Rugby will kick off in September, launching its first three clubs, with locations in Birmingham, Cheltenham and Leicester.

And the team at MAN v FAT are hopeful that rugby enthusiasts can enjoy the same levels of success as their football counterparts in the future.

Karl White, from MAN v FAT’s HQ team said: “We are delighted to be getting underway with MAN v FAT Rugby this autumn.

“We regularly get guys asking us to give rugby a try, so we are pleased to be meeting those requests with our first ever MAN v FAT Rugby club.

“MAN v FAT Football succeeds off the back of a strong community feel and we know that community is a reason why rugby clubs up and down the country prosper.

“Our touch rugby programme will lean on the knowledge and experience we’ve gained from supporting thousands of men in football, but we have no doubt our rugby members will build something that has its own unique feel.”

As with MAN v FAT Football, rugby participants would need to be aged 18+ with a BMI of 27.5 or higher to get started. More details about the programme and how to register can be found at www.manvfatrugby.com.
