The line-up for this year’s MAN v FAT National Finals was completed on the final Sunday in July, as the Central Tournament took place at Ilkeston Town.

Six more places were confirmed and, with a best loser spot up for grabs across the four tournaments, a whopping 50 teams will be making their way to St George’s Park in September.

Warrington Wolves staked an early claim to be ones to watch in the morning session, going through their four group stages unbeaten and racking up 15 goals in the process.

They were one of only two unbeaten teams on the day, with Stoke picking up four wins out of four in the afternoon, conceding just the one goal.

Group B in the morning proved to be the tightest group of the day, with Greens on Toast edging out Sheffatico FC to secure their place on Finals Day.

Following the tournament in Ilkeston, the MAN v FAT calculators came out to decide the final and 50th team to qualify from the third placed team with the best record.

And it was Way Less FC from Weymouth who got the ‘late call-up’ to complete the teams who now have a month to prepare themselves for a big day at St George’s Park!
