Key Responsibilities / What I Do
As the Regional Manager for the South of England, I’m responsible for supporting and developing our amazing MAN v FAT Football clubs across the region. That includes everything from mentoring our brilliant coaches, helping clubs grow and thrive, ensuring quality and consistency across the board, and creating a positive, supportive environment for all our players. I also work closely with the wider team to roll out new initiatives, deliver training, and make sure we’re always moving forward as a programme.
Why I Love Working for MAN v FAT
MAN v FAT isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I believe in 100%. I started out as a player, and the programme genuinely changed my life. It gave me the tools, support, and motivation I needed to take control of my health and wellbeing. That experience lit a fire in me to give back, so I left my family business to join the HQ team and help other men make the same positive changes. Every day I get to see lives being transformed, friendships being made, and confidence growing – it’s an incredible thing to be part of.
Proudest Moment at MAN v FAT
There have been so many proud moments over the years, it’s tough to choose just one – and that’s what makes this role so rewarding. What really stands out for me is seeing men take positive steps to become better versions of themselves. Watching the lads grow in confidence, hit their goals, and proudly earn their place as one of our Amazing Losers is genuinely inspiring. Every week brings another reminder of why I love doing what I do.
Who I Support
Norwich City – Because one minute, we’re setting the Championship alight and the next we’re clinging on to premier league survival for dear life. Our relegation parties…. Nobody does them quite like us – more exciting than Spurs trophy celebrations (which, let’s face it, are as rare as a solar eclipse). But at least we know how to throw a proper party, even if it’s to bid farewell to top flight football for yet another year.
