Welcome to this week’s MAN v FAT Newsround, where we take a look at what’s been going on in the world of weight loss, health and fitness this week…

NEWS FROM THE MAN V FAT FOOTBALL LEAGUES

We are always banging on about how great it is to see all of our wonderful players and coaches are at spreading the MAN v FAT Football word across the country; whether that is on television, the radio or in the newspaper, it is always humbling to see our programme being spoken about on a nationwide platform.

However this week we achieved the ultimate badge of publicity honour, as the chaps from the Yeovil league were interviewed by none other than Sky Sports News. If you tuned in earlier this week you’d have probably choked on your cornflakes at the sight of seeing our perennial PR king and Yeovil coach Roger Smith (who is surely on the verge of being nominated for a BAFTA after all his stellar television performances these last few months) talking the nation through everything MAN v FAT Football does.

The segment, which featured clips from some of the Yeovil games, interviews with the players and shots of the weigh-ins was yet another proud moment for our team, as with your help we look to bring MAN v FAT Football to as many people as possible.

WHAT WE’RE EATING

For a long time now the Sunbites range from Walkers have been a great healthy snack option, but they have just stepped their game up even further. The new Veggie Harvest multigrain crisps combine the intense flavours synonymous with Walkers, while also keeping the calories down.

Coming in two exciting flavours: roasted red pepper and chilli and caramelised onion and balsamic vinegar, the latter stack in at an impressive 2g of fat and 0.2g of salt less than their regular crisp counterparts. Pick up a bag of six for just £1 from Tesco.
