MAN v FAT Soccer, which has supported guys to lose over 20,000lbs of excess weight since the fall of 2024, is now adding its seventh state with the arrival of the program in Massachusetts.
There will be two new leagues getting started in the state, both of which will be taking place in Boston from September onwards.
And Romain Claverie, Facility Manager for UNLMTD Soccer – MAN v FAT’s first partners in Massachusetts – can’t wait to welcome the MAN v FAT community.
He told us: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome MAN v FAT Soccer to our facility. We already have a great relationship with the MAN v FAT team through our New York locations, and we’re excited to continue growing that partnership here in Boston.
“We strongly believe in the positive impact that the program has on participants, both from a health and community perspective, and we’re proud to provide a home for the league.”

And it’s not just the on-field offer that’s impressive, there’s plenty to do once the game is over, too.
Romain added: “For men joining the league, they can expect a brand-new, state-of-the-art soccer facility designed to create the best possible playing experience. We feature the latest generation of artificial turf, providing excellent playing conditions and comfort for all participants.
“Beyond the field itself, the facility offers a welcoming social environment with a spacious bar and lounge area where players can relax before and after games.
“We also have a selection of snacks and drinks available, large-screen TVs showing live sports, and comfortable gathering spaces that help create a real community atmosphere around the game.
“Our goal is to make the facility more than just a place to play soccer, it’s a place where people can connect, have fun, and enjoy being active together.”

The launches in September are the latest rollout of locations for the MAN v FAT Soccer program, which will soon surpass 1,000 participants across the US.
Director of MAN v FAT, Richard Crick added: “We’re really excited to be working with Romain, Clément and the team at UNLMTD to bring MAN v FAT Soccer to Boston.
“Boston has been on our roadmap for some time now, so we are delighted to be able to get started there in September. Early sign-up numbers are encouraging and we’re sure we’ll see another fantastic community develop there.”
