Talking Bollocks could save your life!

Balls, plums, nads or nuts – whatever you call them, just make sure you check them this month!

April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month, so we’ve teamed up with The Robin Cancer Trust, the UK’s only testicular, ovarian and germ cell cancer charity, to raise awareness, break the stigma and start a conversation that could save your life.

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men, with around 2,400 men diagnosed every year in the UK. If caught early, it’s over 95% curable, which is why awareness and early action matter so much.

So what can you actually do?

● Check yourself once a month (it only takes 30 seconds)
● If something feels different, get it checked by your doctor and don’t delay making an appointment.
● Normalise #TalkingBollocks – simply talk about it with your mates.

Because the more we talk about it, the less awkward it becomes and the more likely people are to take action when it matters most. You can learn more about testicular cancer here: www.therobincancertrust.org/testicular-cancer

If you’re a MAN v FAT member, you’ll be receiving a range of content from the Robin Cancer Trust and MAN v FAT over the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for what we’ve got to share.

And if you want to support the mission, or bring an awareness talk into your workplace, you can get in touch at: info@therobincancertrust.org.
