Emotive night at Villa Park as Awards celebrate MAN v FAT achievements

It was an emotional night at Villa Park on Saturday, as we celebrated the MAN v FAT Community and their achievements over the past twelve months.

A host of powerful stories were shared through the course of the evening as those in attendance were reminded that the MAN v FAT programme is about so much more than weight loss.

The awards themselves were shared across the MAN v FAT community, with winners across England, Wales, Scotland and the USA, as well as representation from the Football, Rugby and Soccer programmes.

As England prepared to head to the World Cup in the USA, Sir Geoff Hurst regaled us with his stories of the 1966 triumph and where life has taken him since that momentous day. And the England hero watched on with admiration as he heard tales about fertility, mental health battles and the fight against cancer.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate, for those who made the journey to the event and for making MAN v FAT such a great place to be!
