Tell us a bit about your experience as part of the coaching team with MAN v FAT
I’ve been an Assistant Coach for about for a good few years in three different clubs across the Manchester area. I’m due to take on a new role as a Coach in Bury in the next few weeks.
What do you enjoy the most about supporting the lads in your club?
I love being a part of the lads’ weight loss journeys and I love to use my position as a Coach to support them as much as possible. I’ve been quite lucky in that all the clubs I’ve been a part of have all had a great community vibe about them – everyone is supportive of each other regardless of which team they play for. It’s always great to see lads being proud to achieve their weightloss goals.
What are you hoping you can achieve by being a part of the coach committee?
I love all things MAN v FAT Football and if there’s anything I can learn from other coaches to take away and help improve my own club, I’ll be delighted. Not only that, as part of the committee, I’m looking forward to help other coaches in the programme and the brand itself to make MAN v FAT become even better.
