Why did you join MAN v FAT in the first place?

I joined MAN v FAT as a way to get back moving and back into football after a long time away from playing. I wanted to get my confidence back and get more active.

What have been the best and hardest bits of your efforts to get to BMI Boss status?

The best bits have been the people and friends I’ve made at the club, who have helped push me and support me throughout my time here. The hardest would definitely have to be when I was out injured for a few months and not being able to be on the pitch.

What are the biggest benefits you’re now feeling from being at a healthy weight?

The biggest benefits would be how fit I am compared to when I started. My attitude and mood is so much more positive and I’ve found my spark again and back to my normal self. Also my relationship with food is the best it’s been.

How important has the MAN v FAT community been in getting you to this stage – and keeping you there?

The community has been top tier, as I mentioned some of the friends that I’ve made have continued to help and push me with my fitness goals outside of MAN v FAT too. Also the kind words and congratulations keep me wanting to still improve beyond BMI and keep improving on my general fitness.
