Name: Christopher Noble

Age: 27

Location: Peterborough

Club: MAN v FAT Peterborough

Weight lost: 14.5kg (2st 3.9lbs, 31.9lbs)

What was your life like before you joined MAN v FAT Football?

Before I lost weight, I felt uncomfortable in myself. I was lazy and I struggled a lot more with my asthma than I do now.

I would eat takeaways every single day, 2-3 times a day, just for convenience. Id been overweight for around 2 years and had a complete lack of confidence in myself.

What made you decide to change?

Id been trying to lose weight for a long time. I wasnt happy with the way I looked, but Id always given up before. This time I really wanted to stick to it.

What has it been like being a part of your MAN v FAT Football club?

I play for Lean Machine and have enjoyed all the games Ive played in. The lads are a laugh, and we all get on really well.

What did you eat before you lost weight?

I would eat a takeaway when I woke up in the morning, anything from fish and chips to McDonalds, then I would go out and whilst I was out I would pick up a McDonalds for lunch and dinner as it was easier than cooking.

What do you eat now?

I dont tend to eat much in the morning but for lunch Ill have a sandwich and a small flapjack bar or something along those lines. For dinner, I eat a pasta pot and a little snack. I try and make sure I drink plenty of water throughout the day too.

How has life changed now you’ve lost weight?

I feel so much better in myself. I play football a lot more and very rarely have to use my inhaler.

I plan on losing another 2 or 3 stone, then concentrate on my fitness and keeping the weight off.

What things do other fat men need to know about losing weight?

Its all about willpower. Youll feel much better once you do it, and though you may slip up now and again dont let that make you stop.
