It’s one of MAN v FAT’s longest standing communities and the lads in Castle Vale continue to achieve great things together.
The club has been running for well over 20 seasons now and has supported hundreds of men in Birmingham and the current cohort are continuing a strong MAN v FAT tradition in the area.
Coach Neil Glover is proud to lead the group and is keen to welcome more local men into the Castle Vale club.
“The secret of its success is the players,” he said. “The players make the community, make the social side work and support each other to keep people being accountable and keep showing up.”
Every MAN v FAT community has its own personality, often reflective of the area in which it is based. And Castle Vale is no different, with Neil adding: “The banter in the changing rooms is the big high. This is mainly when Ian comes in and starts it off and then it follows with the rest of the lads.
“They’re a close group, supportive of each other and loyal to the club. It’s great ot see.
