MAN v FAT’s October competition bonanza

In September 2021, we launched our 100th MAN v FAT Football Club. We’re beyond thrilled to have reached this incredible milestone and to celebrate we’re giving away weight loss essentials throughout October!

These are the things that MAN v FAT Football members have told us have helped them on their weight loss journeys, ranging from kitchen tools to cookbooks to healthier snacks. We’ll also be throwing in a load of MAN v FAT prizes and some special prizes from some great organisations.

Keep an eye on this page for the individual links to each competition.

Competition FAQs

What is Gleam, and why are you using it for competitions?

Gleam is a tool dedicated to running competitions. It allows you to enter competitions fairly easily using just your email address and social media profiles. For us, Gleam makes running a competition a lot easier as they take care of collating all the entries, creating the t&cs, automatically opening and closing the competitions, and it can draw a random winner when the competition is over. It’s a lot less work for us, so that’s why we’ve chosen to use it.

I'm having trouble entering via Gleam, what shall I do?

If you’re having problems entering via Gleam, you might have better luck opening the individual landing page on Gleam. Each competition post will provide a link to the competition hosted on Gleam’s website, so look out for the ‘click here if you can’t see the Gleam widget below’ link and try entering there instead.

If that doesn’t help, Gleam has a comprehensive FAQ page. Here’s some troubleshooting of common issues when entering Gleam competitions.

Can I see a list of competition winners?

You sure can! At the time of writing, none of the competitions have ended, so check back in November when we’ll update with a list.

How will you get in touch with winners?

We’ll email winners from an @manvfat.com email address. We won’t DM winners from our Facebook, Instagram or Twitter accounts, so if you get a ‘you’ve won’ DM on one of these networks, it’s a scam. We’ll never, ever ask for bank account details in a social media message if you’re a competition winner. If you’re wondering why we’ve mentioned this,  see this article about how scammers are using competitions to scam people on social media.
