MAN v FAT, the UK’s leading men’s weight loss programme, is set to team up with Redditch United at the start of 2023 to support the men of the Midlands’ town to improve their health and wellbeing.
MAN v FAT currently help over 8,000 men each week to tackle their weight loss efforts and MAN v FAT Redditch is one of over 170 locations nationwide where like minded blokes come together to play football and lose weight.
MAN v FAT Redditch got underway in October 2021 and, since then, men participating in the club have lost a remarkable 165kg in weight.
And, from January onwards, the Redditch players will get to grace the pitch of Redditch United’s Trico Stadium, with sessions set to take place on a Tuesday evening.
MAN v FAT Central Regional Manager Karl White said: “We are really excited about this opportunity to work with Redditch United and to bring MAN v FAT to the club. We are keen to support as many men as possible to improve their health and wellbeing with the programme and playing at the Trico Stadium will be a great way to spread the word on what’s going on locally for men of all ages!”
The addition of MAN v FAT’s weekly sessions continues to build on Redditch United’s growing contribution to the local community, with the stadium’s pitch and other facilities supporting a range of sporting and other community events throughout the course of the year.
The new partnership will see MAN v FAT Redditch players able to watch their local team in action and to celebrate their own successes with an awards night at the stadium in April 2023.
